At Phoenix Ortho, we are sincerely praying for a quick end to this global crisis as more and more people are impacted by COVID-19. Our hearts go out to everyone that is affected by the virus. I want to let you know what Phoenix Ortho is doing to continue to prioritize and protect our customers, employees, their families, and our communities.
Remote Work
You may be aware that Phoenix Ortho has always been a virtual company. Every one of our employees works from home across the United States and abroad. All of our internal systems, such as phone and service software, are cloud-based and have been for years. In that sense, we are uniquely equipped and prepared to continue to maintain the high standards of service and support upon which you have come to rely.
To further increase safety, our typical on-site services, such as training and implementation, will shift to an online delivery model until our customers and we deem it safe to go back to traveling. We will make adjustments and communicate with you as needs and circumstances dictate.
Telemedicine
Responding to requests from our orthopedic partners across the country, we have been developing a telemedicine solution for some time. If you have attended any of our webinars this week, or read the emails, you know that we are mere days away from releasing this new feature to Phoenix Ortho EHR. Please monitor our many communications outlets (email, Customer Hub, Twitter, and Facebook) for more detail and exact release dates.
Going Forward
We are keeping up with the guidance of the World Health Organization, CDC, and federal, state, and local health authorities related to travel, quarantine, meetings, and events, and we will adjust as needed.
Helping Out
This pandemic is like nothing the modern world has dealt with before, and the level of response needed, especially medical, is staggering. We encourage everyone that can to donate to a trustworthy relief organization, such as Samaritan’s Purse. To donate online, go to https://www.samaritanspurse.org/donation-items/emergency-medicine/.
We here at Phoenix Ortho are genuinely grateful for you and value our relationship with you. We commit to staying connected to you and helping you through this unprecedented situation. If you have any questions, concerns, or if there is anything else we can do to help you at this time, please let your project/account manager know.
God Bless you, your teams, and your loved ones, and we wish you the best.
Sincerely,
Paul McCune
