The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) is hosting its annual orthopaedic conference March 12-16 at the Venetian/Sands Expo at 201 Sands Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89169. This conference is a major gathering for ongoing orthopaedic surgeon education that features techniques, technologies, and review sessions to help physicians improve their practices.

This year, Phoenix Ortho will be exhibiting at the event alongside Cheyenne Brinson, a consultant with KarenZupko & Associates (KZA) who, as noted on her KZA bio, “speaks regularly for organizations such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Foundation, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation” and many other specialty societies.

Why Should You Join Us at the 2019 AAOS Annual Meeting?

Aside from the AAOS Annual Meeting being one of the largest orthopaedic conferences of 2019, Cheyenne Brinson will join us in our booth ready to share with you strategies for helping orthopaedic surgeons and their practices to collect at a greater rate at the time of service. Many physicians find her presentations to be real eye openers that help them drive their clinic’s success. Her expertise in orthopaedic surgeon education for helping physicians improve the business aspect of their practices is transformative for many practices.

Additionally in the Phoenix Ortho Booth #421 you will see our orthopaedic-specific EHR solution that combines:

  • An Integrated PACS Solution. Where most Electronic Health Record solutions interface with a third-party picture archiving and communications system (PACS), Phoenix Ortho’s EHR solution has an integrated PACS solution that is built for our EHR. This eliminates third-party fees while reducing complexity and saving time for orthopaedic practices.
  • Patient-Facing Check-in Solution. Phoenix Ortho’s “Phoenix Kiosk” is a patient-facing check-in solution that saves orthopaedic clinics time, money, and effort on patient data entry. With Phoenix Kiosk, patient check-in information, health histories, and other data are automatically forwarded to the patient chart—eliminating many redundant processes.
  • Adaptive, Per User Preferences. Phoenix Ortho’s EHR software learns how individual orthopaedic surgeons in a practice perform diagnoses and treatments—presenting that physician’s most-used order sets front and center to help them save time on frequently-used order sets.
  • Inbound Fax Automation Intelligence. iPHax AI is an automated solution for processing inbound and outbound faxes for clinics that is built from the ground up to save time and money on handling faxed documents. In one clinic, the use of Phoenix Ortho’s iPHax AI solution cut FTEs for fax-related tasks from four FTEs a week down to one FTE a week—a 75% reduction in labor!

In fact, Cheyenne Brinson will be discussing solutions such as the Phoenix Kiosk and how it can help orthopaedic surgeons improve patient check-in and collections at the point of service.
